Michael S. Rhodes, LMFT, is an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). The Approved Supervisor designation identifies professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists.
As a Florida Qualified Supervisor of marriage and family therapy interns, Michael has demonstrated the experience and qualifications to supervise registered MFT and MHC registered interns seeking to be licensed in the State of Florida. Registered interns are required to have a Florida Qualified Supervisor monitor their progress until they are licensed. Becoming a licensed family therapist or mental health counselor in the State of Florida is a demanding process requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice post-masters degree, supervision, and passing a national examination.
